These resources have been created by Durham colleagues and shared openly for anyone to use, adapt, and build on. Each one is freely available under a Creative Commons licence meaning no paywalls, no permissions requests, and no cost.

Whether you’re looking for something to use directly in your own teaching, or want to see what open practice looks like in your discipline, you’ll find each resource accompanied by a short post from the colleague who made it, explaining what it is, how they use it, and what others might do with it.

Send Us Your OERs!

If you are a member of staff at Durham University and would like to submit a post to add your own OER to the Durham Directory, please register for this site using the link on the toolbar above.
Once you’re registered, log in to your account and you will see the ‘+New‘ button at the very top of the page; click it, then select ‘Post‘.
You’ll see a new post that includes guidance, which you can also see on this format of new posts page. Please add information about your OER under the headings, and remove the guidance notes (the orange text) from your post. Please keep the headings and use them to tell us more about your OER.
Once you’re happy, submit your post for review.
We will be notified and take it from there!
